As a PGA professional and golf school owner,
I have been blessed with the honor of spending my days helping others
learn to play the game that I have such passion for. Through all my time
teaching, I have observed a pattern develop with golfers as they
approach their senior years. Their flexibility and strength level begin
to change, and they often struggle to perform a swing that no longer
fits their body. That's where my experience comes in, and I truly enjoy
sharing it with others. As you will see, there are some basic changes
that need to be made, both mental and physical, that can change your
game and make golf more fun that it's ever been. That is what this book
is about; a reflection of the patterns that I have seen on the lesson
tee over the years. I will explain the reasons that we need to make
adjustments in our minds and bodies, and give you an easy way to
accomplish both through thoughts and drills.
We will discuss flexibility and how to increase yours. You will understand how today's equipment can help you, and what clubs should not be in your bag. There are instructions for a basic swing motion that we should all have, and how we can fit it to our own bodies. You will learn the importance of the short game, pitching, chipping, putting and bunker play, and methods to become razor-sharp at all of them. Can you play and practice more effectively? The answer is yes, when you utilize tricks like the Bifocal Back swing and the D.W.I.T. course management system described in this book. It will not only enlighten you on the latest teaching methods, but will provide lots of fun doing so . . . |
