| SWING FROM AND TO TARGET (Chris Lovrine) | |||

One question I am asked around this time of year is how to I keep my swing throughout the winter months when I can't play. I suggest doing exercises for stretching and back strength. Also, I suggest if they are able to swing a shorter, weighted club (such as the protator) to do so 2 to 3 times per week. If this is not available hold your target wrist with the non-target hand and practice swinging in a room - stand on the diagonal and swing back, about shoulder high, to the one corner (fingers and arm point to the corner) and then swing through to the other corner (again, fingers and arm point to the corner). This will help promote swinging from and to your intended target. |
