I just want to tell you that the best 'Perspective For Reading The Green'
is
the 'Worm's Eye View'. The most efficient view will be found laying on your
tummy facing the 'Down Ball Rolling Line'. You might get your knees soiled
and look a little odd when you start doing this but do it. The closer you are to the ground level the truer will be your 'Elevation View'; the more distinctly you will see the natural undulations of the 'Putting Surface'.
'Green Reading' is a mechanical task.
You may have 'Multiple Breaks' in your 'Read'. If so, don't get hung up
with their complexity. I read 'Tendencies In Break'. When I am surveying, I say to myself "some left, some right and some more left" so the 'NET BREAK' is "Some Left". Keep It Stupid Simple!
Reading Greens? You just have to do lots of it!
Once you have read the green, then you must strive to deliver 'Golf Balls
Down Ball Rolling Lines To The Bottom Of The Cup ' to prove your reads! Bottom Line? Make more Putts while paying more very detailed attention to the nuances. Making 'LAG PUTTS' does not cut it! 'LAG PUTTS' are deliberate 'TWOS'! Who
would ever want to make 'Twos when Ones are available'?
Every 'Putt' and every 'Chip' is my last stroke. Take 'Dead Aim' and never plan to miss!
