What other game provides you the opportunity
to have 18 chances to make good on the pursuit of a goal? With Jim
Flick's help, I learned to approach each tournament round as 18
different appointments. I had 18 sales calls to make that day. A poor
presentation with call #2 was not to affect my attitude when calling on
hole #3. Working with this approach took a tremendous amount of pressure
off when I did have a poor hole. I still was encouraged about playing the next hole as I treated it as a totally new experience. As we say: keep it simple with your swing thoughts. You should carry that over into your mental game. |
